Questions before booking
When should I book a pre-shipment inspection?
Once the goods are available and before shipment or the payment decision you want the inspection to inform. We coordinate timing and readiness with the factory; an incomplete lot may require a revised scope.
What should I send before the visit?
The product specification, approved sample or reference photos, order quantity, packing requirements, factory contact/location and any tests that matter to your decision.
Do you inspect every unit?
A standard visit uses an agreed inspection plan; it is not automatically a 100% check. The report identifies the sample and checks actually completed.
How are defects classified?
We agree defect categories and acceptance criteria before the visit. The report records evidence and counts; the decision is assessed against that agreed plan, not a single AQL label in isolation.
What happens if defects are found?
You receive the findings and evidence. Possible next steps include supplier clarification, sorting or rework, a revised shipment decision, or a separately quoted re-inspection.
Can you arrange a re-inspection?
Yes, subject to factory access, scheduling and a separately confirmed scope and quote.
Is this laboratory testing?
No. On-site inspection covers the agreed visual, dimensional and available functional checks. Laboratory testing or certification work is separate.
What affects the quote?
Product complexity, number of SKUs, required checks, location, access, working time, travel and any special equipment or translation needs.
